CONFLICT RESOLUTION EXPERIENCE
Currently a partner and chair of Entertainment and Sports Law Practice at Fox Rothschild LLP, Mr. Fern spent more than a decade at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer International, Inc., managing its international business affairs and serving as General Counsel. His clients include major multinational and international corporations, medium-sized companies and entrepreneurial ventures. He also advises boards of directors and managing members and partners on governance issues and acts as a consultant to law firms and an expert witness in cases involving contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and partnership governance.
Mr. Fern's publications on contract law are used by attorneys worldwide. He is author of Warren's Forms of Agreements, an eight-volume leading treatise on negotiating, structuring and drafting American business agreements and contract law, as well as Warren's Forms of Agreements: Fern's Desk Edition. Mr. Fern also represents clients in structuring and drafting franchise agreements and regulatory matters. He has been designated a Certified Specialist in Franchise and Distribution Law by the California Board of Legal Specialization. He has written extensively on this subject in numerous published law books, including the three-volume treatise, Franchise Law, and related published books: Intellectual Property Law, Establishing and Operating Under a Franchise Relationship, and Franchising Current Legal Forms (volume 3(a)). |
