Judge Fahey has more than 35 years of conflict resolution experience as a judge, businesswoman, elected official and federal prosecutor. She serves as a mediator, arbitrator, hearing examiner and referee in a wide variety of civil disputes. Judge Fahey has special expertise in oil, gas and energy matters, having served on the board of Blackstone Oil and more recently as Executive Advisor to E&B Natural Resources, an independent petroleum company operating throughout the United States. She has also worked with municipalities, including Santa Monica, Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach, and she was appointed as the Arbitrator for resident disputes in the city of Rolling Hills Estates.

Judge Fahey has been a Neutral at ARC for the past eight years. Prior to joining ARC, Judge Fahey served as a settlement judge for the Los Angeles Superior Court, on the retired judges panel.

During her two terms as Mayor of Manhattan Beach, Judge Fahey helped resolve numerous employment matters and labor negotiations as well as overseeing major public works projects and related environmental impact reports.

Prior to her appointment to the Superior Court, Judge Fahey served as an Assistant United States Attorney in Los Angeles, where she conducted numerous investigations, was lead counsel on dozens of trials and had extensive federal appellate experience.

Judge Fahey was raised in South America and Europe and speaks Spanish and Italian.
