Hon. Joyce Karlin Fahey

Judge Joyce Fahey brings to bear more than 30 years of conflict resolution experience as a judge, attorney, elected official and businesswoman. Most recently, Judge Fahey was named Executive Advisor to E&B Natural Resources, an independent petroleum company operating throughout the United States. Judge Fahey is also the Arbitrator for resident disputes in Rolling Hills Estates and served as the Hearing Examiner for resident disputes in Santa Monica.



Complex matters, including commercial and residential property disputes, wrongful termination and workplace discrimination, municipal disputes, wrongful death, personal injury and business disputes.


Judge Fahey has been a Neutral at ARC for the past six years. Prior to joining ARC, Judge Fahey served as a neutral on the Retired Judges' Panel for the Superior Court for three years. Judge Fahey served two terms as Mayor of Manhattan Beach where she was called upon to resolve employment matters, resident disputes, labor negotiations, as well as overseeing major public works projects and related Environmental Impact Reports. Judge Fahey also served as a Trustee for the Manhattan Beach Unified School District. Judge Fahey was raised in Europe and speaks Spanish and Italian.
