CONFLICT RESOLUTION EXPERIENCE
Judge Paul Flynn sat on the Los Angeles Superior Court bench from 1989 to 2006, where he handled complex civil disputes and felony jury trials in the Central and West Districts. He also served as a Justice Pro Tem on the Court of Appeal.
Prior to his tenure on the court, Judge Flynn was a fulltime law professor at Pepperdine University School of Law (1984-89) and at Southwestern University School of Law (1981-84). He was a partner at Walter, Finestone, Richter and Kane (1980-81). He served as an Assistant United States Attorney and Chief Assistant United States Attorney for the Central District of California (1971-1980). He began his legal career as an associate at O’Melveny and Myers (1968-71).
