CONFLICT RESOLUTION EXPERIENCE
Judge Saeta served on the Superior Court from 1975-1991, where he handled Civil Fast Track cases, including law and motion and discovery, civil jury and non-jury trials, and settlement conferences. As one of the most influential judges in Los Angeles County, he was consistently involved in overseeing judicial education and Rules of Court, and in crafting legislation concerning court administration.
Judge Saeta served on the Municipal Court from 1964 to 1975. Before he was appointed to the bench, Judge Saeta was a civil litigator with the top Los Angeles firm of Beardsley, Hufstedler & Kemble for six years. Judge Saeta has served on the leadership committees of the American Bar Association, the California Judges Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and CJER. He has been a lecturer and Adjunct Professor of Law for universities and CEB, teaching law and motion, jury instructions, civil trials, and evidence.
