John P. Miller, Esq.
After nearly three decades as an attorney, John P. Miller began a successful ADR practice in 2000. A certified mediator with training from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law, Mr. Miller has conducted numerous mediations and served as a Judge Pro Tem in Orange County Superior Court. He has an outstanding reputation among Orange County litigators and is known for his expertise in complex construction law and design professional liability. He also specializes in matters involving personal injury, general business and real estate.

A former Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney and FBI special agent, Mr. Miller spent most of his legal career in private practice at Morris, Polich, Purdy, where he was managing partner of the firm’s Orange County office. His breadth of experience ranges from lawsuits involving severe personal injury to numerous jury trials in which he has successfully defended contractors, architects, structural engineers, and civil and soils engineers. He has many years of experience with both arbitrations and mediations. He has conducted numerous seminars on construction law, architects’ and engineers’ liability and ADR processes.
