Mark F. Sullivan, Esq.
Mark F. Sullivan specializes in resolving complex employment and business disputes. He has more than 30 years of general, business, and employment litigation experience representing corporate, governmental and individual clients. His trial experience includes federal tort and contract, aviation liability, products liability securities fraud, and other complex litigation.

Prior to founding Sullivan Sottile & Taketa in Westlake Village, Mr. Sullivan served in various senior positions within the legal department of GTE Corporation and its successor, Verizon Communications Inc. His assignments included appointment as the Vice President & General Counsel for GTE Airfone Incorporated and service as the corporate officer responsible for the management of all litigation involving GTE California Incorporated and its successor by merger, Verizon California Inc.

During his in-house tenure, Mr. Sullivan was the lead trial and appellate counsel in numerous cases involving the interests of a public utility with widespread real estate holdings, including easements on virtually all of the developed real estate in the large areas of California served by the Verizon telephone company subsidiary. This has involved him in numerous real estate disputes of all types. Throughout his years of practice he has been a volunteer instructor at the college and law school level, among other things instructing real estate sales personnel on their common law and statutory fiduciary duties.
