Philip Barbaro, Jr. is a partner in the law firm of Barbaro, Chinen, Pitzer & Duke, LLP. Certified by the State Bar of California as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate law, he brings more than 30 years of experience and wisdom to the resolution of disputes that arise in the administration and litigation of probate, trust and conservatorship cases, including will and trust contests and matters involving elder abuse, undue influence and capacity issues. With a deep understanding of their sensitivities and concerns, he provides the parties a voice in the system. Parties are comforted by his decades of knowledge and solutions-oriented approach to navigating the often complex and thorny issues which arise in such matters. Ranked as a Super Lawyer since 2006, Mr. Barbaro is an active participant in the legal community as a member of multiple bar associations and has served on numerous boards of civic and non-profit organizations. In addition, his practice includes real estate related matters in the areas of purchase and sale transactions; residential and commercial leases; seller non-disclosure; quiet title actions, cancelation of instruments; fraud and fiduciary based claims arising from purchase and sale of real estate; partition actions; easements and covenants; boundary disputes; trespass and nuisance claims and equitable remedies such as constructive trust and liens.
