Conflict Resolution Experience

Roger's mediation practice emerged from thirty years' experience in commercial real estate. He held senior executive roles with major retailers and developers, including the Woolworth Corp., Skechers USA, and the Guilford Glazer Companies. Roger negotiated lease workouts that generated over $100,000,000, spearheaded major redevelopment projects, and resolved thousands of leasing disputes from both sides of the table.

An early advocate of online dispute resolution (ODR), Roger's practice has been primarily online since 2014. When pandemic struck, he organized ODR best practices trainings for attorneys and mediators in California, the Pacific Northwest, and British Columbia. Roger practices radical neutrality, a methodology recognizing that conflicts involving home, business, and community require a swift, nimble, solution-driven response.

Known as a creative and connector, Roger is active in the global dispute resolution community. He has presented to conferences in Kenya, the United Kingdom, Canada, and throughout the United States. In 2021 he co produced the Northwest Collaborative Futures Conference, an international forum focused on cross-border conflict through the lens of the pandemic and the accelerating global plague of extremism.
